Theodosius Cistern was a hidden gem on my trip to Istanbul. The atmosphere inside was both mysterious and imposing. Walking between the columns, I could almost imagine the ancient engineers who created such an enormous underground reservoir. The dim lighting, combined with the cool, serene air, created a sense of peace and awe. It was incredible to be in a place so rich in history, knowing that it has served as a vital water supply for the city for centuries. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking to experience an ancient wonder.
